Sponsorship Uniraid 2024

UNIRAID is a great human and charitable adventure open to university students from Spain, Portugal, and Andorra with an entrepreneurial and altruistic spirit. It is a 6-day journet through the Moroccan desert in cars with more than 20 years, taking place every year in Februaru. UNIRAID is not a rally or a speed race; it is a travel-adventure where participants must complete 6 stages navigating with a roadbook (no GPS) and overcoming all kinds of obstacles, challenges, and tests, with the goal of crossing Morocco from north to south and delivering 40 kg of charitable material to desert villages.

This year, our company, along with others, sponsored a vehicle that participated in the event, driven by two students, Miquel Massó and Roc Momplet, students of engineering and industrial design with a great passion for the motor world, adventure, and a big charitable heart. As seen in the photos, driving, mechanical skills, effort, and orientation ability were also necessary.

In the photo report, you can see some of the difficulties encountered during the different stages, especially in the southern Atlas, which is the desert area, more complex, and tests all participants’ skills.

Since it is not a rally in the strict sense of the word, there is no absolute winner. However, there are four mentions or “winners” in the aspects of solidarity, orientation, survival, and regularity. The drivers we sponsored were leaders and winners in the orientation category during the desert stages.
